Agarunov Law Firm, P.C. was founded in 2012 in Manhattan's Financial District. From the start, the firm has focused on the kind of legal work that fits flat-fee billing — closings, contracts, formations, agreements, registrations — and on the kinds of clients who benefit most from predictable cost: individuals navigating a single important transaction, small and growing businesses, healthcare providers, and creative professionals.
The firm now serves clients across all five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and northern New Jersey, with practice areas covering real estate, business transactions, employment, family law, entertainment law, and health care law. The flat-fee model fits the great majority of the firm's transactional work. Some matters — litigation, contested disputes, and certain regulatory matters — can't be scoped flat and are handled on an hourly basis when the firm takes them.
What hasn't changed since 2012: the firm is small by design. Clients work directly with the attorney handling their matter — there is no associate handoff, no junior staff drafting your documents, and no billable-hour engine quietly running in the background. Tatyana founded Agarunov Law Firm, P.C. in 2012 after several years practicing as an associate at New York firms — including time as a law clerk at Schwartz Perry & Heller (employment law) and at RXR (real estate). She graduated from Hofstra University School of Law and holds a B.A. from Pace University.
Her practice covers the full range of the firm's transactional work: residential and commercial real estate across New York and New Jersey, business formations and ownership agreements, healthcare practice formation and HIPAA compliance, entertainment deals, employment contracts and severance review, and family law agreements including prenups, postnups, and uncontested divorce.
She is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. The firm offers free initial consultations on every matter.
